. Which part of the story stood out as the saddest part, and why?
The part when Betty's mom says that she was her only friend. And tried to pretend not to listen to the phone call.
2. Was there any point YOU would have said something, when the narrator DID NOT speak up? Why/why not? Or would you have acted like she did? Try to be honest with yourself:)
When they were imatating the queen of england eating watermelon. I think i would of had something slip out. Like '' You know you dont haft too be mean so back off and get a life'' and thats all. But i figure sometimes when people make fun of me.... its their problem.
3. Re-read the last paragraph, and then decide: What is the theme(s) (moral or lesson) in this story?
That after you see what you have done. And if its wrong you look back and see how horrible it is. And sometimes you could forget the past. Rewind and stop. Erase the past and move on with the future instead on guilt standing on your shoulder. You have times when you know when your right and when your wrong. But its your choice to choose what road you wanna go down. You cant blame anyone but yourself.

I agree with you completely. The only problem is for #1 you forgot to add why. Great job anyway! (by the way nice picture!)

I really agree with your answers to the questions. I also agree with Ethan that you forgot to add why to your saddest part. I really like how you told us what you would've wanted Ina Hughes to say to Margie and the rest of the class. P.S. You spelled have wrong =)
I agree. It's sooo sad how u and ambar wrote it. Good job!
I really agree with you I will also tell Margie to "back off and get a life" too. Yea and also it really is their problem, if they think i'm wierd so what? I know that i'm wierd and crazy in all kinds of ways and i guess that Margie is just jealous of Betty Ann because she wrote a better report than her.
Kezia, I agree with every you wrote! Because, on the sadest part that would be pretty awkward to but asked "Why don't you like her?" Also, for the second question, that's really true with what you said. I just love the part where you said "But i figure sometimes when people make fun of me.... its their problem." it really sent out a meeage for people around the world! Great job on that! For question 3, that just made me feel something inside. (In a good way ofcouse:))! It was sooooooo breath takeing. Awsome job on this!

I really like how you described your thoughts, i mean so what if i like something wierd it dosent mean you have to be mean about it.
I thought you expressed your thoughts wisely and in a good manner. I didn't find any spelling errors but I would capitalize the I
Very Good!!!!!!!

thanks for the comment but that is exactly it. i spoke up.i stood up for my self, and now i do it more. when you grow up who will do that for you? no one.
Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Rosa Parks they spoke up. they didn't have other people do it for them! they expressed their opinion by not eating and refusing to give up a seat on a bus. They made a diffrence, not their puppet.
YOU CANT STAY IN THE SHADOWS YOUR WHOLE LIFE, YOU HAVE TO COME OUT AT SOME POINT.
I disagree/agree with you to your answer for number two. Yes i would feel bad for her but i dont see how you could do that because it puts you at risk of loosing your friends. Who made fun of jacody? I would change your answer unless
YOU HAVE REALLY CHANGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
